Does a person have to do Istinja’ (wash the private parts with water) every time he wants to do wudu?
Praise be to Allah.
Istinja’ is not necessary each time a person wants to do Wudu. It is essential after passing urine or stools, when a person must wash his private parts before doing Wudu for prayer.
