What is the ruling on transplanting testicles taken from a person who has recently died, especially when this could be the solution for a person who is suffering from sterility?
In Islam, transplanting reproductive glands such as testicles is prohibited because they carry and transmit genetic characteristics. However, parts of the reproductive system that do not involve DNA transmission can be transplanted in cases of legitimate necessity.
