Praise be to Allah.
The Standing Committee for Academic Research and Issuing Fatwas said:
“It is not permissible to break the fast during the day in Ramadan in order to play sports such as football or anything else, because that is not one of the legitimate Shar`i excuses that make it permissible to break the fast.”
