Praise be to Allah.
No one should swear by the right of the Quran, because the right that the Quran has over us is that we should respect it, follow it and believe that it is the word of Allah. These are all actions of ours, and it is not permissible to swear by a created being or by his actions. Rather one may only swear by Allah or by one of His names or one of His attributes, because the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever swears, let him swear only by Allah or else keep silent.”
And Allah is the source of strength. May Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
