The scholars agreed that it is haram to wear amulets for protection if they contain anything other than Quran, but they differed concerning those which do contain Quran. Some of them said that wearing these is permitted, and others said that it is not permitted.

-Traveling solely to visit the Prophet’s grave is not allowed. -Visiting Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi with the intention of prayer is permissible. -Visiting the Prophet’s grave as part of a mosque visit is allowed. -Visiting local graves without traveling is a Sunnah. -The Prophet encouraged visiting graves as a reminder of the Hereafter.
