The Quran clearly states that all things come from Allah, including both good and bad. However, calamities and misfortunes befall humans as a result of their own sins and disobedience, not because Allah directly wills evil upon them. Scholars explain that while Allah decrees everything, He also grants humans free will, and their sins bring about negative consequences. The Prophet (peace be upon him) affirmed that even minor hardships expiate sins. The misconception that Islam attributes evil to Allah is due to misinterpretations and a lack of understanding of Arabic and Quranic context.
