If a person is not sure about his tawaaf, should he do the prostration of forgetfulness, given that circumambulation of the Ka‘bah is a form of prayer?.
Praise be to Allah.
He should not do this prostration, because prostration is not part of tawaaf. If the act of worship in question does not involve prostration in the first place, how could it be made up, in the case of doubt, by prostrating? End quote.
