Taking an egg from a woman, fertilizing it with her husband’s sperm, then implanting it in the womb of another woman, is something innovated and reprehensible.

In Islam, birth control pills and the coil are only permitted if there is a valid medical reason and with the husband’s consent. Permanent contraception is discouraged unless medically necessary. Scholars have warned against potential harms, and Islam encourages having many children to increase and strengthen the Ummah.

Human cloning is prohibited as it interferes with Allah’s natural creation and could disrupt the social and familial framework. However, cloning technologies for plants, animals, and microorganisms are permissible under Islamic guidelines.
