If a Sikh woman wishes to marry a Muslim man, the marriage can only take place if she embraces Islam. Islam forbids a Muslim man to marry any non-Muslim woman apart from women of the People of the Book, namely Jews and Christians; no others are allowed. On the other hand, a Muslim woman may not marry a non-Muslim man, no matter what his religion is.

If a person converts to Islam, even with the intention of marriage, he will look at the perfection of Islam and be encouraged to form a sincere intention, so he will become sincere towards Allah and become a good Muslim, and Allah will accept his Islam.
