-Islam does not permit the practice of reciting Ruqyah in unison, as there is no evidence for it in the Quran and Sunnah. -Ruqyah should be performed individually, following the prescribed Islamic methods. -The practice of reciting specific Surahs on unrelated occasions is considered an innovation (Bid’ah). Islamic gatherings should maintain proper gender segregation.

There is nothing wrong with the menstruating woman performing Ruqyah for herself by reciting Quran, Du`as and Dhikr that are prescribed in Islam. There is also nothing wrong with her reciting from the Mus-haf, on condition that she does not touch the Mus-haf except with a barrier.
